My Inspiration

I was inspired by Laughlin's artwork "Black Sun Rises" because his subject uses a scarf over their head. I found this inspiring because I like the way the identity of the person is hidden, so much so that she isn't even showing her hair. This image made me want to do something similar to my culture and religion, because many women wear scarves around their heads, including my best friend, who is in the picture.
